Supporters are invited to an exclusive open day at our Berkshire base to see the work of the Trust and get involved.

We’ll be hosting the open day in Berkshire on Sunday 17 January, showcasing some of the many volunteering opportunities available to Supporters and giving you an opportunity to view recent restoration work. There will be a chance to sample some of the vehicles from the collection, to view our facilities and to sign up for a number of workgroups which we hope to form on the day.

New and existing Supporters are welcome. Enroll now for your chance to attend.

Current restoration projects you will be able to inspect include the 1927 Leyland Lion PLSC3, which has reached an exciting stage in its complete rebuild. Southern National 2065, our 1965 Bristol FLF6B, also makes encouraging viewing following major bodywork renewal.

The 1929 Royal Blue AEC Reliance will be seen in the early stages of its restoration, and Southern National 2932 may be glimpsed in storage awaiting its turn.

Fully restored vehicles in attendance include the 1927 GWR Guy; 446, our 1946 Thames Valley Bristol K6A; Thames Valley D40, a 1966 Bristol FLF6G; Reading Corporation 4, a 1957 AEC Regent III and the sole surviving 1966 Reading Corporation Dennis Loline, 76. Other resident vehicles from the wider collections of the Trustees may also be viewed, some restored and others in progress 

We hope to inspire you with our achievements to date and that you will want to help us to continue our work in the future. The open day will be the ideal opportunity to find out what is required and consider how you might get involved.
