TV&GWOT’s charitable objective is to educate, and in the process to entertain, the public in the history of public road passenger transport and in particular in the history of those companies and types of vehicles operated through the Thames Valley and Great Western road transport corridors – fro’ Paddington to Penzance! A number of publications are available which support that purpose.

Event Publications and Booklets

Each year TV&GWOT organises a series of events such as vintage bus running days in towns across the region.   The bumper programmes include newly researched articles on aspects of the local transport scene over the years, lavishly illustrated with old photographs and ephemera from the Trust’s Collection.

Beyond a record of the vehicles in service and the routes for the running day, these glossy programmes are of lasting interest earning their long-term keep on the bookshelves of transport scholars and enthusiasts alike.

While stocks remain, past event programmes are available to purchase at the discounted price of £3 each including p&p. Please email your order requirements (using the Programme order form if you wish) to enquiries@tvagwot.org.uk to check availability and benefit from bulk postage savings, if applicable. Payment can be by Paypal, cheque or bank transfer – details to be agreed with order confirmation.
