2025 is a significant year in the early history of express coaching. The first 'Greyhound Motors' express service Bristol - London - Bristol was inaugurated a century ago in February 1925. Royal Blue services also ran that route. With Greyhound Motors they also ran a service Bristol to Bournemouth, then the established base of Elliott Bros' 'Royal Blue'. in 1935, 90 years ago, Royal Blue ownership passed to Western/Southern National and the HQ moved from Bournemouth to Exeter.
