With a demanding summer ahead for our volunteers, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Tavistock Vintage Bus Day, previously scheduled for August.
Our events are organised and run entirely by volunteers and depend upon the availability of people and vehicles to make the magic happen. We apologise for the disappointment this will naturally cause. All programme pre-orders will be refunded.
For others who were looking forward to the Tavistock timewarp, we hope you’ll consider joining us for our other forthcoming 2024 events, which will go ahead as planned. Our Kingsbridge Vintage Bus Day (pictured above) takes place on 21 September, offering free heritage bus and coach rides through the breathtaking coast and country scenery of South Devon. Cheltenham Classic Coach Gathering on 7 July will see classic coaches from across the country converge on this one-time coaching hub, re-living the famous ‘mass departure’ scenes one more time.
