On Sunday 28 July crowds joined the Trust and friends from the Amersham & District Motorbus Society to mark the 40th anniversary of the closure of Windsor bus garage. Our Thames Valley services ran to Maidenhead (routes via Dorney and via Dedworth) and to Ascot, alongside their recreation of former London Transport country bus routes.
Thames Valley Tilling-Stevens 152 and the Trust stand were under the Central Station canopy with a new exhibition of archive photographs, fascinating tourists and enthusiasts alike. Click here to enjoy some of the highlights of the day.
